The visionary game developer, the mind behind the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
