Two Victims Named in the Ivy League School Incident as Police Press On With Manhunt for Perpetrator.

Two students who died in the weekend's mass shooting in Providence had tributes paid to them on Monday – amid a widespread hunt for their killer persisted following the discharge by Rhode Island officials of the single suspect questioned in the case.

Remembering Ella Cook

Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama, was called “an amazing, stable, pious, radiant soul”, as stated by the Advent Cathedral in Birmingham, which paid tribute to her at a service on Sunday.

The second fatality was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an Uzbek national in his freshman year at the renowned school, family members said.

The victim's identification was officially acknowledged by the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“He was exceptionally gentle, witty, and bright. He harbored grand aspirations of pursuing a career in neurosurgery and aiding others,” his sister, Samira Umurzokova said in a memorial statement.

The Shooting Incident

Nine more persons were wounded in the weekend shooting in the school of engineering of Brown’s university in Providence, during the university's examination week.

Law enforcement reported on Sunday evening that a 24-year-old male arrested in a search at a hotel about approximately 17 miles from the university earlier in the day was being released.

“There is a killer at large,” said Peter Neronha, Peter Neronha.

He continued, “Sometimes you head in one direction, and then you must reassess and head another way, and that is the current situation over the last approximately one day.”

Public Fear

The city's mayor, Brett Smiley, noted: “We know that this is likely to cause renewed concern for our public”.

The shooter began shooting inside a room in the engineering facility on Saturday, shooting over four dozen bullets from a 9mm pistol, a authority reported to the Associated Press.

Law enforcement that entered the hotel recovered two firearms and two loaded 30-round magazines when the individual was detained, as was reported.

Condition of the Injured
