The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
