I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
