Locals witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to seven centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along significant areas of Queensland's east this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.

The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued storm activity expected across various areas of both regions.
